- Increasing the number of women-led companies engaged in export business, including SMEs;
- Increasing the volume of export by women-led companies already engaged in international economic activity.
- Creating a successful tool for stimulating export activity by highlighting and recognition of the most successful women-led companies working in non-resource exports sphere.
In accordance with President Putin’s ‘may decrees’ the volume of non-resource non-energy exports has to reach $250 bln by 2024, with at least $36.7 bln to be contrubuted by SME sector.
Achieving these figures will allow to fully change the outline of Russian economy. To achieve these goals it is essential to ensure additional incitement of new exporting companies appearing, including SMEs, and as a result — increasing the volume of non-resource non-energy exports.
Since already today women make a third of all SMEs and these statistics will increase every year, it is necessary to more actively engage female entrepreneurs in the development of export policy.
Promotion toolkit:
- Participating of women-led companies in projects initiated by Russian Export Center JSC in the sphere of providing financial and non-financial support
- Including women-led companies in communications programmes initiated by Russian Export Center JSC, in particular ‘Made in Russia’ project
- Participating of women-led companies in exhibition and trade fair activities delivered by Russian Export Center JSC
- Federation Council events with the participation of female entrepreneurs, providing recommendations for ensuring the access of female entrepreneurs to information, education, finance and sales market.
