about the project

Facilitating the development of new technologies in philanthropy by promoting the role of women in the development of private, institutional philanthropy and corporate social responsibility, and promoting successful Russian philanthropic projects both in the Russian Federation and in the international arena.

  • Places and events of the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation,
  • Events with the participation of women philanthropists and CSR experts in the Federation Council, forming recommendations for the dissemination of innovative and successful practices and technologies in philanthropy at the interregional and international level.

In Russia, traditionally the charity sector is viewed predominantly as a women's sector. Not only do women support foundations with direct donations or voluntary help, but they also form the infrastructure to a large extent.

Many charitable foundations are headed by women, and in 2018 the top 50 CSR managers rating included 35 women and only 15 men, and the first four years of the rating were held by women managers. Separate efforts should be made to promote Russia's successful experience in philanthropy at international venues and to include Russian women leaders in the agenda of global charitable associations and organizations.
